How can we understand current and emerging ways of using digital material held by collections in Australia in light of copyright law and the interests of creators?
This conference will address some of the key issues currently facing Australia 's cultural institutions, creators and copyright owners in the developing digital environment. These include online delivery of collection material, new licensing models, orphan works, Australia 's flexible dealing exception to copyright and the role played by cultural collections in innovation, education and Australia 's digital future.
Speakers will include the following, along with further representatives from Australian cultural collections, creators, and industry commentators.
