Dr Terry Cutler is an industry consultant and strategy advisor in the communications technology arena, and has been widely involved in government industry policy and regulation both here and overseas. Terry Cutler is currently:
Chairman of the CRC for Interaction Design (ACID)

- President of the Australian Centre for the Moving Image
- Director of the Multimedia University, Malaysia
- Member of the International Advisory Panel , Malaysia ’s Multimedia Supercorridor
- Council Member, Queensland University of Technology
From 1996 to 1997 he was Chairman of Australia's Information Policy Advisory Council. As Chairman of the Industry Research and Development Board from 1996 to 1998, Terry Cutler spearheaded key initiatives in promoting venture capital and industry innovation and oversaw the licensing of the initial Innovation Investment Funds. In 1999 Terry chaired Australia's National Bandwidth Inquiry.
