Welcome to the Biological Weapons Convention Regional Workshop website. This website has been designed specifically to allow South-East Asian government officials and experts to participate in follow-up activities to the workshops, and to provide a forum for the ongoing exchange of views on regional efforts to reduce the risk of inadvertent support for the hostile use of biological agents or bio-terrorism. The website also seeks to engage the broader scientific community in our region in efforts to improve national implementation of the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention.
