Duncan Baxter is a partner at the Melbourne office of Blake Dawson.

Duncan acts for major corporate clients including global financial institutions, resource houses and telecommunications companies.
Duncan worked for 17 years in the corporate and international tax practices of two global accounting firms (including two years on secondment in Thailand and one year on secondment with a major telecommunications company) before joining the firm in 2004.
Duncan is a qualified Australian Lawyer and an officer of the Supreme Court of Victoria, a Chartered Accountant, a fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and a member of the International Fiscal Association. He is also a member of the National Tax Technical Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and its International Financial Reporting Standards and International Tax sub-committees.
