Sunita Jogarajan joined the Law School part-time in July 2004 and became a a full-time lecturer in July 2006. Prior to joining the faculty, Sunita worked as a corporate tax consultant with KPMG Melbourne, focusing on international tax issues. She has been involved in a number of tax advisory engagements for major Australian and international multinational companies, including a multi-billion dollar international tax due diligence. Sunita continues to work at KPMG Melbourne in practice development and tax policy. Sunita's primary research interests are in tax policy, the role of multinational institutions and international tax. She has written on the role of the IMF on tax reform and the integration of tax regimes in ASEAN member countries. Sunita teaches tax at the undergraduate level to LLB and Commerce students. She also co-teaches in a number of specialist tax subjects in the postgraduate program.
