Academic Skills Support & Wellbeing
Academic Skills Support
The Melbourne Law Masters program is pleased to provide a range of support options for students who wish to further develop their skills in English language, legal research or academic writing.
Dr Chantal Morton is the Lecturer in Legal Writing and Academic Skills at Melbourne Law School. She runs workshops, tutorials and seminars aimed at improving students' academic skills and English language proficiency.
Along with the staff at the Law Library, Melbourne Law School has a Legal Research Skills Advisor, Natalie Wieland, who offers individual and group training in legal research skills.
Maintaining positive wellbeing is imperative to successful and rewarding studies. Both the University and the Law School have a number of services designed to support and assist student wellbeing, as well as policies and procedures to help manage conditions and circumstances affecting wellbeing. If you are experiencing difficulties, your first point of contact should be the Teaching and Learning Advisor (Wellbeing).
