The course and subject fees listed below apply to all students enrolled in the Melbourne Law Masters program; they are the same for Australian resident students and international students.

Subject fees are likely to increase annually.
FEE-HELP
FEE-HELP is a loan available to eligible Australian citizens for fee-paying graduate coursework programs. FEE-HELP is not available for single subject enrolments. For more information, please visit www.goingtouni.gov.au

Course fees
Students who commenced after 2004: Students will need to pay the prescribed subject fees. Subject fees will increase from year to year. Fees will not be held constant for any period.
Students who commenced their course prior to 2004: Course fees are held constant for three years for students enrolled in coursework masters degrees and for two years for students enrolled in a graduate diploma. At the conclusion of this period, all fee increases will apply.
Students who commenced in 2004: Course fees are indexed annually and will increase by three per cent each subsequent year of enrolment. For students who commenced their course in semester 1, course fees will be increased at the start of the academic year in every subsequent year of enrolment. For students who commenced their course at the start of semester 2, course fees will be increased at the start of semester 2 in every subsequent year of enrolment.
Course Transfers: Students who transfer from one course to another, will be required to pay the fees applicable at the time of transfer.
Students whose enrolment is terminated or discontinued: If re-admitted to the same course or a new course, students will be required to pay fees according to the fees policy applicable at the time of re-admission not the policy that applied when they originally enrolled.
