Get involved
You can make a difference to someone else’s life and career by sharing your knowledge, skills and experience. At Melbourne Law School we believe our alumni have an important role to play in the education of the next generation of lawyers.
Alumni are involved in a wide range of Law School careers programs: providing insights from the profession; helping law students to negotiate their first experiences in the world of law; or speaking about their experiences in the legal field.
Give
Alumni can support those who are beginning their journey in the legal world by donating to Melbourne Law School's scholarship program, which aims to ensure access for deserving students in financial need. Our goal is to give every talented student the opportunity to pursue their study of the law, regardless of their financial situation or geographic location.

Become a mentor
The Melbourne Law School Mentor Program is managed by Career Development Services (CDS) and aims to provide students with a link to the profession and exposure to the practical realities of working in the law. Mentors enjoy the opportunity to develop a relationship with the next generation of law graduates, in addition to maintaining a relationship with the law school.
We are now seeking your help to accommodate the growth of the program in 2013 and beyond. For more information about the program and to register your interest, please click here.
Host an intern
Your workplace may be able to provide an opportunity for a student to experience law outside the classroom. Internships provide a valuable bridge between the theory of law and the reality of practice. Equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to work in the real world, students can improve their employability upon graduation.
Partnerships are sought with organisations across the private, public and community sectors.
