Alexandra Merrett is a Senior Fellow with the Melbourne Law School and is also Principal Lawyer for the Melbourne office of the ACCC, working primarily in enforcement. She was previously a Senior Associate in the Competition and Regulation team of Phillips Fox and has also served as an economic analyst for the Australian Competition Tribunal. Alexandra has acted both for and against the ACCC in a number of significant merger matters, including AGL v ACCC and, more recently, ACCC v Cabcharge.
