Allen Snyder is Professor at the University of San Diego, and has been a practising mediator for 20 years and a lawyer for over 35 years.
He has worked extensively on skills training for lawyers and mediators with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and the San Diego Mediation Center. Most of his teaching is in the areas of negotiations, interviewing and counselling, trial practice and live-client clinics. He has published on patient competency and co-authored A Practical Guide to California Evidence and Mental Disorder in the Criminal Process.
