Antony Anghie is Samuel D Thurman Professor at the College of Law, University of Utah. He received a BA and an LLB from Monash University and his SJD at Harvard Law School, where he served as a Senior Fellow from 1993 to 1995.
His research interests include public international law, international commercial transactions and human rights. He practised for several years in employment law, administrative law and international law. He has also been a visiting professor at Harvard Law School, Cornell Law School, the London School of Economics and the University of Tokyo. His scholarship is exemplified by his book, Imperialism, Sovereignty and the Making of International Law.
