Brian Arnold is Professor Emeritus of Tax Law and a tax consultant. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and has taught tax law at a Canadian law school for many years. He has been a consultant to various governments, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the United Nations. He was a Visiting Professor at Harvard Law School from 2005 to 2010 and currently teaches international tax courses at the University of Sydney. From 2000 to 2007, he was a member of the Permanent Scientific Committee of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
He is the co-author of Reforming Canada’s International Tax System: Toward Coherence and Simplicity and Comparative Income Taxation: A Structural Analysis, (3rd ed.).
