Mr Ceda Ogada

Ceda Ogada is Assistant General Counsel at the Legal Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where he works in particular on country operations and on IMF policy development and enforcement. In the wake of the current global financial crisis, these issues have become a critical and high-profile aspect of the IMF’s work. He has taught several courses on the legal framework of the IMF and made various presentations on the same at international conferences and seminars. Prior to joining the IMF, he worked for the United Nations and in private legal practice in the United States. He received his preparatory education in Nairobi and holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
