David Kershaw is a Professor of Law at the London School of Economics (LSE), United Kingdom. He is also a senior researcher in the LSE’s Financial Markets Group. He joined the LSE in 2006. Prior to joining the LSE he was a Lecturer in Law at the University of Warwick between 2003-2006. He has first-class honours from the University of Warwick and an LLM and doctorate from Harvard. He qualified as a solicitor with Herbert Smith and has practised corporate law with Wolf Theiss & Partners in Vienna and Shearman & Sterling in New York and London. He writes and researches in corporate law and governance, accounting regulation and takeover regulation.
