Godwin Busuttil is a barrister practising at 5RB chambers in London. He specialises in all areas of media law, defamation and privacy in particular. Over the years he has acted for or against all the UK national newspaper groups, as well as major broadcasters and publishers. He has represented clients not only in England but in cases proceeding before the courts of Hong Kong, Brunei and the Cayman Islands. He is a Contributing Editor of Gatley on Libel and Slander, the Co-Editor of the Entertainment and Media Law Reports, and an author of The Law of Privacy and the Media (OUP, 1st ed, 2002). He regularly writes articles on media law subjects for periodicals such as the Entertainment Law Review and the Journal of Media Law.
