Guy Mundlak holds a joint position in the Faculty of Law and the Department of Labor Studies (Chair) in Tel Aviv University, Israel. His research looks into the relationship between law and the labour market as well as the institutions and practices of the welfare state. He covers a broad range of topics in both international, comparative and domestic labour law, including industrial action, trade union organisation, employment discrimination, social and economic rights, and labour migration. He is particularly interested in the role of civil society and the use of law as a means for social transformation.
