Jeannie Paterson was appointed as a Senior Lecturer at Melbourne Law School in 2010. Prior to this appointment, she completed her BA/LLB (Hons) at the Australian National University and a PhD at Monash University, on the topic of ‘Good Faith in Commercial Contracts’. Jeannie has also worked at Mallesons Stephen Jaques and at the Faculty of Law, Monash University. Jeannie specialises in Contract and Consumer Protection Law. She is the co-author, with Andrew Robertson and Arlen Duke, of Principles of Contract Law (4th ed, 2012) and the author of Unfair Contract Terms in Australia (2012), as well as many articles.
