Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Queensland and a Master of Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne. He is currently the Director of Services and Infrastructure Development at Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust where he is responsible for the management of services across the sport and entertainment precinct including security, cleaning, parking, maintenance and catering. He is also responsible for the management of the $363m first stage redevelopment of Melbourne Park. Immediately prior to this, Lloyd was the Director of Major Sport Projects for Sport & Recreation Victoria where he oversaw the introduction of the Major Sporting Events Act 2009 (Vic) and was responsible for the management of the Victorian Government’s involvement in major sporting events and the development of major sporting infrastructure. Lloyd gained major event experience as the Group Manager of Support and as Special Advisor, Operations for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Corporation. He has also worked as an advisor the Minster for Commonwealth Games and extensively in industrial relations.
