Mark Freedland teaches employment law at the University of Oxford. He is also a fellow and tutor at St John’s College, Oxford. His main research and teaching interests are in labour or employment law, particularly personal work relations, and public law, where his special interests are in public service contracting and in the public law/private law divide.
He has published widely, including more than 20 books or chapters on employment law. His previous appointments include Director of the Oxford University Institute of European and Comparative Law and Vice Chair of the Law Board, University of Oxford.
