Peter Harris is a lawyer whose interest is in international, corporate and comparative tax law, and is a Reader of Tax Law at the University of Cambridge, where he is also Director of the Centre for Tax Law, and a Tutor and Fellow of Churchill College.
He is the author of four international tax books, the most recent is International Commercial Tax. He has contributed to other books and published many refereed articles. He is the Academic Editor of the Cambridge Tax Law Series and Asst. Editor (International) for the British Tax Review. Dr Harris has worked for more than a decade for the International Monetary Fund. He has taught at universities throughout the world including Leiden, London, Georgetown, Florida, Pretoria, Paris, Oslo and Vienna.
