Tony Duggan teaches secured transactions, bankruptcy law and trusts at the University of Toronto. He has held previous positions at Monash University and as Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Melbourne. He has also held the position of Associate Dean at the University of Toronto. He was the recipient of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law’s Mewett Teaching Award in 2010 and in 2011.
He is a member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Personal Property Security Law Committee and has written many publications, including Secured Transactions in Personal Property: Cases, Text and Materials (with Jacob Ziegel). With a co-author he is currently writing a text on the Australian PPSA.
