The Law School is located only a five-minute tram ride or a 15-minute walk from the city centre, and is positioned right next to the inner-city suburb of Carlton. The Law School's contemporary and purpose-built facilities are located adjacent to the historic and leafy University campus.

The Melbourne Law School building has been designed specifically for legal education. This state-of-the-art building has simulated court facilities, purpose-built study spaces, a library spanning three levels and comfortable student areas for group work and relaxation.
