Centres & Institutes

Melbourne Law School is host to a number of research centres and institutes, specialising in a wide variety of legal fields. All students are encouraged to participate in the teaching and research programs offered by the centres, and to use the centres as a means of pursuing their own particular research interests.

In addition to teaching and research programs, the centres also hold a range of international and national conferences, seminars, interest group discussions, and in-house programs on leading-edge topics. While academics from within the Law School are key contributors to the research centres' activities, the centres benefit in their activities from the extensive involvement of a variety of experts and leading practitioners drawn from relevant industries, professions, investment institutions, governments and universities in both Australia and overseas.
