Graeme Austin is the J Byron McCormick Professor of Law the University of Arizona College of Law. He holds an LLM and JSD from Columbia Law School, and has first degrees in law from Victoria University of Wellington. Prior to taking up his current position at the University of Arizona, he was a senior solicitor in the commercial litigation department of a large commercial firm in Auckland, where he practised mainly in the area of copyright and trade marks.
In addition to his academic duties, Professor Austin is an advisor to the American Law Institute project on international intellectual property. He is the author of numerous books and articles, and in recent years his scholarship has focused on enforcement of intellectual property across international borders.
