Melbourne Law School offers a wide range of tax subjects at undergraduate and graduate levels, and across a range of law and commerce degree programs at the University of Melbourne.
The Tax Program provides a detailed grounding in the fundamentals of Australian and international taxation law, in combination with comprehensive analysis of the extensive range of new taxation laws which have emerged as a result of the federal government’s Review of Business Taxation and Review of International Taxation Arrangements.
The course offers subjects designed for those who are commencing careers in taxation, subjects which will assist practitioners of all levels of experience to maintain their skills and knowledge in an era of continuous tax law change, and subjects which expand tax knowledge to include tax systems of major trading partners such as the US and Asian countries.
Practitioners who do not wish to enrol in a degree course can enrol in individual subjects for professional development purposes.
